One beautiful item purchased once is better than three items replaced in a year. Still, you need to know how to take care of it.
Here are our practical tips, material by material.
Viscose & fluid fabrics Cold wash (maximum 30°C), delicate cycle or hand wash. Do not wring - gently press in a towel. Dry flat, in the shade. Iron at a low temperature, fabric slightly damp or with a protective cloth.
Cotton Wash at 30-40°C according to the label. Avoid tumble drying, which shrinks the fibers. Iron slightly damp for a perfect result.
Polyester & synthetic materials Wash at 30°C, synthetics program. These materials withstand frequent washing well but are sensitive to heat - avoid too hot an iron. They dry quickly, no need to force with heat.
Silk or delicate materials Hand wash exclusively, cold water, mild soap. Never twist. Dry flat, never in direct sunlight. Iron cold on the reverse side.
Universal rules
Turn clothes inside out before washing - colors last longer. Wash cold by default: it's sufficient in the vast majority of cases and preserves the fibers. Store items folded or on a suitable hanger depending on the material. Treat stains immediately, cold, without rubbing.
The right thing to do first: read the label.
Each item has its care instructions. They are not there for show - following them guarantees that your purchase will last over time.
A well-maintained garment means less replacement, less waste, and a wardrobe that continues to meet your expectations.
